Overview
Binary Puzzle fills a grid with two colours under a small set of counting rules. Every row and column must contain equal amounts of black and white, and no row or column may include three consecutive cells of one colour. The Unruly engine can offer an additional uniqueness setting, so check the selected Type before assuming that identical completed rows are forbidden. Its standard colour display expresses the same balance idea often presented with zeros and ones. Given cells remain fixed while you fill the blanks. The locally compiled game generates new boards and lets you work without a countdown. Because every deduction uses a short sequence or a row total, it is approachable in a brief session while still supporting larger, more demanding layouts.
How to Play
Click a blank square to make it black, or use secondary input to start with white. Further clicks cycle the square between its available states. On a phone, repeated taps work directly; the Secondary toggle is useful when marking a run of white cells. Balance both colours in every row and column while avoiding three consecutive equals. Follow any uniqueness rule enabled for the current preset. Undo corrects an entry, and Restart clears only your added cells while retaining the starting clues.
Tips & Strategy
Two equal adjacent cells force the cell immediately before and after them to the opposite colour when those cells exist. Two equal cells separated by one blank force that middle cell to the opposite colour as well. After these patterns, count each line: once half of its cells have one colour, all remaining blanks need the other. Apply the same reasoning vertically instead of finishing whole rows independently. Use identical-row comparisons only when the uniqueness option is active. Otherwise you may reject a valid board by imposing a familiar rule that this particular preset does not require.
